About: Marjoly is the leader of a group of witches in the Kingdom of Marl who call themselves the Marjoly Family. She lives in a floating castle named Beauty Castle with her underlings Gao, Crowdia and Myao, and a Nyanko (cat) army. She's known as a wicked, evil witch, and she does possess tremendous power, but people seem to be terrorized by her obsession with beautiful young men than any other reason. In Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, she fell in love with the prince, Ferdinand, but when she tried to cast a love spell on him, he was turned into stone instead. She then brought him to Beauty Castle, but he was rescued by a village girl named Cornet and her army of puppets.

Her obsession with true love isn't really explained until Angel's Present. Long long ago, prior to forming the Marjoly Family, she fell in love with Keeldear, prince of an advanced civilization called the Ancients. It was love at first sight, and in no time they eloped. But Keeldear was terminally ill, and even with the Shadow of Beauty, a treasure of the Ancients that could grant wishes, he could not be saved.

Marjoly is vain and very conceited. She is also extremely petty; she's quick to fly into a fit of rage when insulted, especially when called old or ugly. She's powerful, but she somehow keeps screwing up her spells — she's more likely to be arrested for sexual harassment than murder, to be honest.

*In Chapter 2 of Angel's Present, she's listed as 1509 years old. Princess Kururu is 16 by then, and since she's born around my canon point for Marjoly... let's just make it easier and say she's 1500 years old lol.
*She's got a lot of power, but while in Starhue Valley she'll simply keep messing up like she does in canon. No young boys will harmed, promise. At least not without their players' consent.
*She appears in other games (like Disgaea) but since I unfortunately know nothing of those canons, she'll not know of them either.
*She'll arrive in Starhue Valley with a buttload of cats, because why not? She's a legit old maid and cat lady!
